Divided Attention

As humans we have the ability to focus our attention on only one thing at a time. When we think about more than one thing or do more than one thing at a time our attention is “Divided”. When eating, drinking or texting while driving you are not focused completely on driving, a part of you brain is doing something else. This becomes very dangerous and effects your ability to react to an sudden emergency. That’s when crashes happen. Fight the temptation of divided attention. Don’t become distracted while driving.

  2. I admit it, I’m guilty of being a distracted driver but with the birth of my son I’ve vowed to be better. When you text and drive, you’re not just putting yourself and your passengers at risk but you’re putting anybody else on the road at risk. We all need to vow to do a whole lot better!
